Jan. 12, 2012 - Here's a belated update about a gallery installation in which Parícutin (2007) was included during the summer of 2010:
The Laboratorio Arte Alameda (LAA) in Mexico City celebrated its ten-year anniversary with (READY) MEDIA: Hacia una arqueología de los medios y la invención en México, an exhibition that ran from June 17 to August 8, 2010. My film was included in this exhibition as well as in the 6-DVD box set with the same title (my film is on DVD 3, in the Cine Povera program curated by Jesse Lerner). The box set is available to institutions and libraries through the Laboratorio Arte Alameda (info.artealameda@gmail.com).

Nov. 28, 2011 - Parícutin (2007) will be screened this Wednesday, Nov. 30 (7:00pm) at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto. It is part of a Loop Collective Retrospective Screening, in celebration of the Loop Collective's fifteenth anniversary. This is the final screening of the season for the TIFF Cinematheque's Free Screen series.
Oct. 3, 2010 - Parícutin (2007) screened in Korea on Sept. 6 during EXiS (Experimental Film and Video Festival in Seoul) in a program called Loop Collective: Screening and Presentation.
June 27, 2010 - I recently returned from shooting footage in the U.K. for my new film, Illuminated Text. My plan is to spend the rest of the summer animating and editing.
I've updated the page on Film-Lab-Digestive-Track (2007), an installation on which I collaborated with other members of the Loop Collective.
