Alucinate - Exquisite Corpse (2007)
6 minutes, multiple-projector 16mm film performance, silent
A collaboration between members of the Loop Collective

Summary:
"A simultaneous multiple-projector film performance made up of separate body parts, each made by an individual member of the collective to produce a horizontal body in repose created as a homage to alucine. The theme that the separate projections share is the hallucinatory aspects of cinema and their relationship to the artist and viewer's body."
--Shana MacDonald

I created the "arms" section of this exquisite corpse. The piece was performed twice at the 2007 aluCine festival, once on the opening night (June 1, Innis Town Hall) and once during the "Loop 10th Anniversary Retrospective" (June 3, NFB Mediatheque).
